“Don’t expect to be able to get any food if you haven’t pre booked it. We travelled from the uk and after a long journey wanted some food and a glass of fizz. Only to be told that wasn’t possible. But a local bar shut in one hour so we needed to be quick. For a place that cost over 330 pounds a night I’d expect a little bit more service. The grounds and the place are beautiful but being able to get basic food and drink has always been staple in France so was very disappointing we couldn’t get...

“There were eight adult family members on vacation. The property is absolutely amazing. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the only sounds you hear are the sheep in the dry moat and the birds that inhabit the property. Though there is no air conditioning in the home, the temperatures were very manageable with the windows open. Chartres is a charming town, away from the hustle and bustle of Paris....

“Logement tres qualitatif, bien equipé, piscine agreable. Des jeux exterieurs sont a disposition pour passer un bon moment entre amis. La possibilité de partir le dimanche a 21h pour une resa du vendredi au dimanche est top ! Seul petit bemol : presence de camera dans le jardin (partie parking) non precisée dans l'annonce, ce qui legalement est une obligation dans la location courte durée.Sinon nous avons passé un agreable moment dans cette maison !”
